East Nashville has undergone one of the most dynamic shifts over the past several years. A resurgence in real estate combined with restaurants and entertainment has helped revitalize the entire neighborhood. This area has become a hot-spot for singles, young couples, musicians and artist. The East Nashville neighborhoods have become some of the most sought after in the entire city.
With the exception of a few newer condo developments, East Nashville is comprised mainly of well-established neighborhoods mostly constructed from the early 1900's to the 1940's. A mix of Bungalows, Craftsman styled cottages and romantic English Cottages are common. There is also a ton of new urban infill construction happening now.
East Nashville is the largest of Nashville's communities, made up of several smaller sub-neighborhoods (Historic Edgefield, Lockeland Springs, Rosebank, Eastwood Neighbors and several others) each with it own flair.
